This phase is where the action is, and ultimately, the most visible phase of the project.  Once the consultation and design have been done, all components are tested and put into place for production use.  Although the steps within this phase may vary depending on the project, the major tasks are as follows:

• Pilot implementation – test the actual system and procedures on a relatively small group of users to optimize the implementation process.
• Full-scale implementation – commence full implementation of system (including end-user training)
