With the recent success of Apple’s new iPad, all other manufacturers are fighting over who can release the rival to take on Apple.  As you most undoubtedly now, HP has finished it’s acquisition of Palm and intends to release a tablet based of off the loved Web OS.  Dell has also showed it’s desire to be in the tablet business with the Dell Streak, which has just been released in Europe, and show be coming soon to the US.  I must admit that I expected a lot of companies to want to rival the iPad’s success, but there is one thing I didn’t see coming…Cisco.

Preparing for the upgrade of firmware for the Cisco UCS, you must first "download" the necessary firmware image or, in my case, the firmware bundle (which includes the firmware for all of the UCS components).

While trying to download the image, the status continually showed "downloading", but never incremented past 2%. After letting it fail and then trying it one more time, I realized what was wrong: I was using TFTP.
