Project Manager

eGroup, Inc., a technology solutions provider with a presence throughout the Southeast, is looking for a seasoned and experienced Project Manager to join our team and help eGroup extend our solutions delivery throughout the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized Project Management Office team member, to be a part of eGroup’s award-winning, highly-capable, and continually growing professional services delivery team.  Your position primarily focuses on project management of eGroup’s technical projects, engagement management, responding to technical assistance, routing and tracking, thoughtful people-resource scheduling, process improvement, and frequent high-level communication with customers.

You should be highly proficient in both verbal and written communication, as well as highly organized with a ‘sixth sense’ of how to handle competing priorities. You should be punctual, self‐motivated, driven, capable of adapting quickly to changing customer-requirements on engagements of all sizes and duration, and be proficient at managing multiple projects simultaneously.  As a representative of eGroup, you must demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

The role of the Project Manager is to manage a number of projects while providing leadership to the project management team ensuring overall team success and utilization. This includes on-going engineering schedule management, tracking engineering work, double checking time entries, managing risk through change orders and ensuring projects are progressing efficiently and thoughtfully. You will also track and maintain the highest quality of service through customer debriefings and follow up conversations to ensure customer feedback is received, processed and quickly put into effect, as part of continuous improvement.

Position Requirements and Duties:
  • Multiple years of demonstrated project management experience
  • Ability to listen, communicate, and work with resources varying in personalities and skill levels
  • Frequent in person, phone and email communications with customers
  • Experience using ConnectWise, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite and other similar software applications
  • Ability to excel working within a team

This position works standard eGroup office hours, but is expected to be available as needed for occasional after-hours or weekend requests.
