We’re searching for a highly skilled project coordinator to contribute to eGroup’s growth and help us maintain our position as an innovative authority in managing projects in the IT sector. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, and experience with work plan development and progress oversight. They will be expected to prepare and present regular progress updates to appropriate management channels, ensuring the innovation we seek is being achieved.

Objectives of this Role

  • Juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Liaise with management and clients to identify and define project requirements, and timelines that align with organizational goals
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets
  • Analyze project progress, scope, timelines, and costs to achieve maximum benefit
  • Assign roles and tasks to dedicated team members, based on individual strengths and abilities
  • Create change orders, when needed, to mitigate scope creep and cost overrun

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Ensure all parts of an assigned project are processed, organized, and progressing according to timelines and deliverable dates
  • Assist in assigning project tasks to relevant parties and check-in for status updates
  • Develop and maintain project performance matrix to track overall progress and the accomplishment of specific billing milestones
  • Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
  • Act as a point of communication between company teams and external resources
  • Deepen partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Project management experience
  • Hands-on experience with managing clients and teams
  • Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
