After leading Microsoft Unified Communications projects for several other defense contractors, eGroup Enabling Technologies had first-hand experience with the unique constraints and requirements of the industry. In addition, eGroup Enabling Technologies’ experience with hundreds of other Microsoft Voice projects gave Armtec the knowledge of what it takes to successfully roll out at scale.
Since then, eGroup Enabling Technologies has been in lockstep with Armtec on their digital transformation. “When we started preparing for an upgrade to Skype for Business 2015,” said Muscarella, “eGroup Enabling Technologies helped give us a migration plan, essentially providing a stepping stone as we move towards the Office 365 environment and a soon-to-be migration to Microsoft Teams.”
Next Step Migrating to Exchange 2016 – then on to Exchange Online
eGroup Enabling Technologies also helped with another technology steppingstone, Exchange. “As we were moving forward to our goal of being in Office 365, eGroup Enabling Technologies helped us upgrade Exchange 2010 to 2016. They’ve helped us along the way to meet every goal we have.”
